[A Short excerpt in a series called “Who Am I?” that is dedicated to finding myself]

As I walked passed the mirror today, I noticed a different person staring at me.

I did not recognize myself.

I looked tired. Tired of everything. Nothing felt good.

I felt nothing but remorse.

At that time, I did what every other sane person does. I called my parents.

“Hello?” I quivered and trying hard to suppress it.

“What happened?” they asked barely hiding the panic veiled voice.

“I am scared” I said breaking into sobs.

It took them a full minute to take it all in.

“We are here for you” they said.

and suddenly Everything felt lighter.

At that moment all that mattered was their love for me and I knew, just then, I knew that I am made of parts of the people I love.
